S60 Detachable Towbar

A towbar uniquely designed for the car. Easy to mount whenever needed. When not in use, it is simply replaced with the supplied fully covering protective cover.

The trailer module manages the electronic communication between the vehicle and trailer.

If, when driving, there is a fault or problem with the trailer's direction indicators or brake lights, the trailer module immediately sends the driver information.

The towbar is equipped with Volvo's Trailer Stability Assist-technology (TSA) and interacts with your Volvo's DSTC-system1. If the trailer starts to sway back and forth at speeds in excess of 30 mph (50 km/h), TSA can brake one or more wheels to regain stability and maintain control.

Note!

Not suitable for the S60L/S60 Inscription. The towbar is tested for the maximum towing weight and towball load, but depending on the car version, it may be lower. For precise information, check car variant and refer to the car's owner's manual.
